The Moose Crew
Christine and Chuck - Innkeepers
To say, “We love where we are and what we do,” is an understatement.
Since opening Muddy Moose in February of 2012, not a day goes by when we don’t pause and appreciate the beauty of our surroundings.
Our mission has been straightforward and consistent... Muddy Moose is “log cabin lodging at its finest”. Guests who stay with us not only enjoy an authentic log cabin but perhaps more importantly, they have the opportunity to experience Vermont’s unsurpassed natural beauty. It warms our hearts when guests tell us that we have succeeded in our goal.
To those guests who have visited us again and again - Thank you!! Your kind words and repeat visits continue to energize our spirits. For those of you who are searching for an authentic Vermont getaway, your cabin awaits.

Tim - Assistant Innkeeper
After years of running Muddy Moose as a “Mom and Pop Shop”, we decided it was time to expand our operations crew. Lucky for us, our son Timothy was the perfect person for the job.
Tim graduated from The University of Vermont in 2017 with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. After graduation he worked in the local area gaining extensive experience in park maintenance, trail building, grounds keeping and customer service. Since joining the Moose Crew, the grounds and trails have never looked better. We appreciate his fresh perspective and youthful energy as he helps us shape the future of Muddy Moose.
He also happens to be an avid hiker, a skilled snowboarder and a self-proclaimed dog lover - all attributes that work well here.

Athena - Shop Dog
Athena is trying to decide whether her favorite job here at Muddy Moose is trail blazing or treat testing. HMMMM?? She says she needs more time and will get back to us. Meanwhile, she is always eager to greet you and apologizes if she jumps up to say hi. She’s working on that.
